Matric Breakfast
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day; and due to the lack of food and resources available to many scholars, thousands of out matric learners across the Western Cape, go to school without having had anything to eat before writing their final examinations. We have embarked on a journey to provide a breakfast each morning to these learners, in identified impoverished areas. This programme will take place during the Examination period in the Western Cape. CDF has also been inspired by several of our partners namely, Masithembele & Hope for the Future, who already run matric breakfast programmes. This ensures that these learners have a well-balanced nutritional meal to enable them to achieve necessary results without being hindered by hunger.
We urge your support in this endeavour!

Stationary Drive
Stationery is an inseparable and essential part of a student’s life. Students’ life is incomplete without stationery! many children are not able to study because they do not have access to basic stationery.
As the school year begins many scholars are not equipped with the necessary tools required to fulfil their learning journey. CDF has committed to provided many of these learners with stationary packs to ensure they have the tools they rightfully deserve. We reach out to all to support this vital course and donate in monetary or resources to assist this pivotal plight.

School Shoes Drive
10.1 million children walk to school everyday in South Africa. Take a second and think about many of them have proper, fixed schools to walk the many kilometres every day.
How can they walk with dignity if they do not have shoes? This is a question we find ourselves asking. Maya Angelou stated, “All God’s children need travelling shoes” So we have taken on the initiative of providing scholars in need with a pair of school shoes. We urge your support and assistance, so we can clothe as many deserving children as possible.
“You just need to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and then see how they feel.”- Navid Negahban.
